生涯で４００冊以上の自動書記による著作がありその全ての印税を寄付していたとのこと。
ブラジルではどこの家庭にも必ず一冊は彼の著書があるといわれている。
彼の自動書記はその正確さで知られており１９７０年代にはある事件の死亡者からのメッセージを受け取り、その正確な描写により裁判所はそれを証拠として採用、無実の罪を着せられそうになった人のアリバイを証明した事例がある。

During his lifetime, he wrote more than 400 books by automatic writing and donated the royalties from all of them.
It is said that every household in Brazil has at least one of his books.
In the 1970s, he received a message from a deceased person in a case, and his accurate description was adopted by the court as evidence, proving the alibi of an innocent man who was about to be convicted of a crime.
